A trend, a fad? Whatever! Freak me cuz this Chamorro version of the viral Tik Tok tortilla trend is insane! I mean, aren't we all just trying to get a fork of everything on our barbecue plate into our mouth??? Why? Why even bother putting Chamorro food in a tortilla???? Because, oh my god, because you can instantly put 5 Chamorro foods in your mouth at once -- unless, um, are you able to do that on one fork?
Another reason to put Guam's CHamoru food in a tortilla?? Because I know I sometimes I have a little of this and a little of that after a barbecue or after a fiesta or after whatever kind of party. And it's just not enough for two people -- or not even enough for one meal. Soooooooooooo, you put a tiny bit of red rice and fina'denne' -- onions and tomatoes slightly drained -- gollai appan aga', chicken kelaguen, and barbecue. Grill to crisp and firm up the tortilla -- you'll be on your way to a complete Guam food heaven -- even enough to share. For reals!
