Splat!!! The custard for my latiya jumped out of the pot and found my forearm, just above my wrist. It was a wee bit, but it hurt!

Yes, we get to have latiya tomorrow. I had a box of Betty Crocker pound cake in my cabinet for a while, trying to put off making this dessert cause it is dangerously delicious...you can eat half a tray if you are not careful!

I love the smell of latiya filling my house: cinnamon, vanilla, milk and eggs....yummy!
