A good friend and I made ahu this weekend....and it was all gone within a few hours!
Ahu is a sweet dessert soup made from young coconut, tapioca starch, water and sugar. It is generally served at rosaries or novenas. On Guam, it is usually made from freshly picked green coconuts. However, if you are stateside, you can use the young coconut meat in a can.
The written recipe for ahu can be found in my book, A Taste of Guam.
