Daigo or pickled yellow raddish


Daigo is a side dish on Guam, similar to a pickled "salad." I remember my dad coming home nearly every day with a bag of daigo; he would generally buy it from road-side stands. I even remember my mom feeding us rice with chopped up daigo. OMG, those were the best of days!

I had some leftover daigo from when my brother Tim visited with his fam as well as my sister Pearl and her fam. Yesterday was the perfect time to take a picture.
