Alright, alright! I had to make this post today because of this picture! I made buchi buchi, I don't know, in January this year? I still have some in my freezer. Ah yes, I made them in January because I had to use coconut milk before the expiration date. In any event, I fried up six pieces yesterday -- because I didn't feel like making breakfast or buying mini muffins. Only three of my four family members in my house like it -- so 2 a person. My recipe is in A Taste of Guam.
I remember the ones I used to buy at Ypao store -- big, misshapen and delish! I prefer my buchi buchi the next day at room temp.
